Volunteering
Edinburgh Headway Group is run by a small staff team and a diverse group of volunteers. We are always looking for new volunteers in a variety of roles to help support our services. Volunteers are provided with training opportunities and support throughout their volunteering role. Volunteering can provide you with the opportunity to build your skills and experience whilst meeting other volunteers with similar interests.

Activities Volunteer
You will be working with our members to help improve their cognitive skills and at the same time have fun through playing games, cards, bingo, crosswords etc. You could be asked to help out with specific groups e.g. quizzes, puzzles, bingos, cooking group, jewellery, play pool, board games, chess etc., or assist our less outgoing members to become more integrated with the others. You will actively contribute to the maintenance of a professional & welcoming environment at Edinburgh Headway Group. This is a rewarding and satisfying role, where you can really make a difference! Flexibility available from Monday to Thursday – minimum of two hours per week
