Edinburgh Headway Group is an independent Scottish charity.
You may be shocked to hear that every 90 seconds someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with a Brain Injury!
Yet despite this there remains a lack of funding and knowledge about this ‘invisible’ condition.
To maintain our work we are dependent on voluntary donations. Currently, we have to raise 83% of our income to support our services. Hence, fundraising is vital to us.
By choosing to support our charity you are choosing to help make a remarkable difference in improving the quality of life of a person with a brain injury and for this we would be most grateful.
Would you like to be part of our campaign to raise awareness and raise vital funds for Edinburgh Headway Group? This is a great time to inspire others to get involved to promote our work and/or sponsor an event.

Our ABI Week provides the perfect opportunity for everyone who cares passionately about improving life after brain injury to come together for a week of campaigning and raising funds and awareness.

Ways You Can Donate
Annual Collection
Annual Collection: It is like a piggy bank thing. You can either do it on an individual, family, or community basis. Just devote a donation box, and keep making donations every now and then when you come across an unspent pence or a pound in your pocket. Encourage your friends, family and work colleagues to do the same!
Corporate
Sponsorship
Corporate sponsorship - Ask your employers to consider sponsoring EHG as their chosen charity of the year.
Sporting Activity
Raise money with organising or participating in a sporting activity or a race
Car
Wash
Car Wash: Choose either a community place, a parking lot, or a door to door option, offer to wash cars for a reasonable charge, and you will see people flocking to get it done.
Shave Your Head
Shave Your Head: If you are a daring person you may like this one!
Bake-A-Thon
Organise a Bake-a-thon making cakes and bakes makes it a marvellous way to involve others, and raise funds with both sponsorship and sales.

Gift In Your Will
We rely on voluntary contributions, including gifts in Wills, to help fund our work supporting families struggling to cope with life after brain injury.
